VBA press PDF button
How can I do the equivalent of pressing a button on the PDF form with VBA, I can think of other more compllicated ones, but there must be a simple way to do this. I am new to prgrqamming with PDF's.

Flash versus HTML5
The virtual world is buzzing with chatter that HTML 5 will replace Adobe Flex. Well, lots of techies have already shared their notions on this topic and declared that the HTML5 will not leave much impact on the utility of Adobe’s Flex, Flash, Microsoft’s Silver light, and Oracle’s JavaFX but there are some logics that are indicating the decline of these iconic software tools. Noticeably, the latest version of HTML5 will include the option to include audio and video elements that means the website managers will be able to upload rich media files directly in the browsers. Moreover, there will be Canvas element, which will allow inclusion of images and vector-graphics, which is currently possible with JavaScript. So, the idea that HTML5 will harm flex or not is still under clouds.

Interactive text application: Which Adobe product would be most appropriate?
Hello All,
I will be creating an interactive, online text application and I would like to know which of the Adobe (or any other) products you think is best suited for this project. Your input is greatly appreciated. Here is a description of the final product:
The initial interactive document will have about 200 pages with about 350 words per page (more pages will be added weekly). There will be a variety of fonts used in this document (some 3d text, some flat text, etc.)Thirty percent of the words will glow on the page (at runtime) and upon mouseover the text that makes up these words will expand (vertically and horizontally). Upon click images and movies with sound (animations and videos) will pop up (over the text document) and play. Sometimes a click on a word will change the text in the rest of the document (introduce new fonts, colors and font sizes).
Which product would best accomplish this? Flash, AfterEffects or something else?

Add/Remove tile from panel at runtime
I have 3 tiles
MenuTile - Flex Menu
Tile1 - Flex module
Tile2 - HTML
In my catalog I have a PanelClass that has the MenuTile and Tile1 as TileReferences, where by including the PanelClass as view:PanelReference in my composite application.
Simply I want to be able to select a button on the menu button and either show or remove one of the tiles.

When uncommented I get a correct count of all tiles in the catalog. Additionally I get the correct count of tiles in the panel before I add the 3rd. I don't get and error but I also don't see the 3rd tile added to the panel.
Some help with this would be appreciated.

Recovering lost Digital ID to open the file.
Dear Friend,
I have some PDF files which were digitally signed and now the harddisk of that system got physically damaged where digital IDs or signatures were saved. Hence now when I attempt to open the files after copyning them on new harddisk it returns the error as in the snapshot added below. Please go through it.
Isn't there any way to open this file(s) by recovering the Digital ID which is lost permamently?
I am of the strong opinion that the solution lies with only with th Acrobat team or experts as the lender of the last resort.

Still MISSING tab for Display/Hardware Acceleration for Flash Player after attempting to download the Latest Flash Player Beta 11.6.102.137 which has Fix #3365321 - "Window 8 Only: Fixes an issue where the Display/Hardware Acceleration tab was missing from the flash Player". Current OS - Windows 8 Pro (64 bit), Browser: Internet Explorer. Following the Forum discussions, tried to download the newest Flash Player Beta 11.6.102.137, but the Download was STOPPED and pop-up message read "Latest version of Flash Player already installed". How do I get a seperate PATH to just FIX the MISSING tab for Display/Hardware Acceleration in Flash Player settings??

How can I create prefilled and editable PDF's on a Linux server with PHP?
I can create PDF's with editable form fields (extended features?) and serve those to our users and I can pre-fill form fields with data from the database using FDF, but then the PDF throws an error and the end user can't fill out the remaining fields (in Reader, it still works in Pro).
I've tried 2 open source approaches already, but the end result is either a fillable form or a pre-filled form. I can't seem to do both at the same time.
I've looked around adobe.com and frankly there's just so much stuff there that isn't even applicable it's staggering. I am completely lost and resorting to asking a question on a forum. I've searched these forms (and others), but anything related to this problem have no answers. I'm sure there's a way to do it.
If I try to set the PDF to fetch the FDF using a http post/submit (can I get it to do that when it loads?) I would still have to get an id number into the query string or object on a per document basis (some how?) and that means editing the PDF server side which breaks the structure which then throws the error on the client side and I'm right back at the beginning again.
At this point, it looks like it's going to take less time to simply create the form in HTML with a unique CSS file for the print version using a PNG for visual elements instead of a PDF. Not a great way to go for printing, but it would only take a day to set up. The time to create new forms is the issue. I don't want to spend 8 hours creating new HTML forms when I can do a PDF in 2 hours. Is it more efficient to go with an Adobe solution or roll my own HTML version?
All I want to do is help the users save some time by pre-filing part of the form so they can print it.

Not able to open a right enabled document
I've done a turnkey installation of ALCRM ES3. I'm able to apply policies to documents. However when I'm trying to open a right enabled pdf with Acrobat X Pro, I'm getting the following error:
Server has denied access to this application. Ask your administrator for the appropriate application/platform/version to use.

Printing from multiple trays
Hi There,
I'm expeirincing a problem. We generate multiple letters in one PDF (For batch printing). We use a different pre-printed paper for the first page as for the second, third e.g pages.
In the PDF we have the first page that needs to be printed from tray 2 and the second from tray 3, the third page from tray2, the fouth page from tray 3 and so on and so on.
Is there any way we can send these steering codes to the printer (HP 4250)?

Data is lost when form is completed under Firefox or Chrome
I have an interactive pdf, created with Acrobat X Professional, with user rights extended so that form data can be saved using Reader. The intent is for users to complete an online form in their browser and be able to save the data to their local disc. This works under IE, Opera and Safari. However, Firefox and Chrome appear to have default pdf viewers which do not recognize the Reader extension. The pdf can be saved, but the form data is lost. Is there a remedy for that?

Removing image overlapping over text boxes in InDesign?
I am importing an image without a background and when it prints, you can see where the image has been placed over the text box. How can I prevent this to allow it to look natural?
I am submitting a quote in a grey box. When I insert the speech mark image, the PDF looks ok but when I print the addition on top has appeared.

Digital Signatures
Is it possible to apply a digital signature to a .pdf file and forward that file (with signature attached) via email "without saving the file to the local computer"?
I know this is not the normal process but, working with a military organization, the commander likes the idea of digital signatures; however, does not like to saving the files to his computer before returning the signed files to his secretary (or, anyone else). He just wants to process the paperwork.

How can I convert my Flash website to a HTML5 website?
I want my website (Inspection tool) converted to a HTML5 so it can be seen on iPhone, iPad and new Android mobile phones. I know there is a tool from Google but it does not solve my problem as i am not an expert on building websites. I also know there are some companies that offer Flash to HTML5 conversion for websites. Does Adobe offer anything of this sort?

e-Signatures on Tablets
I have created both Acrobat and LiveCycle forms for Time Sheets, Expense Forms, Field Change Orders, Safety Training, etc. I need some forms to be completed by employees and signed by the employee and in some cases the client, supervisor and Safety Manager - on the tablet with a physical stylus and on the laptops they use with an e-Signature. Problem is LiveCycle Forms do not work on the tablets (Samsung Galaxy 2) and the signature fields and calculations do not work in the Adobe Reader app. There is another app that does work for the signature fields but does not show the form (only the field names and text entry boxes). Help! I've tried Java and Form Code both as well as other methods - I thought all this stuff was supposed to work without having to have a PhD from MIT. I needed to be able to merge the Time Sheets in Acrobat so that the CSV file goes into my accounting software - which I got to work - yea! So, now all I have is the signature issues solved and I am up and running.

I am using CQ 5.5 and want to set up the share point connection from CQ. Could you please share if you have any docs?

But it is not giving any docs for CQ 5.5. However i installed the packages and able to see the OSGI configuaration for sharepoint connector and given the sharepoint workspace. But nothing turned up
Where I will give Share point credentials for mounting the virtual repositories?
we are using sharepoint form authentication.
