My PDF images are blurry sometimes, then not blurry at other times 'in the same PDF'. If I extract all pages; they are clear until I save, close, then reopen. When I scroll it against another PDF sometimes its clear, sometimes blurry. So strange. Maybe its downsampling... when saving but how to stop this. Distiller wont open so cant do settings in there. Uping the DPI in page display not work.

How to change scale of the screen of an Adobe Flash Player player?
Hello! I have Adobe Flash Player 11.3.31.232 As I can change the size of video (the size of the screen, a window) during viewing of rollers or films from the Internet? And whether there is a possibility to change the size of a window of a player during video viewings in public networks and dating sites? On your sites, unfortunately I couldn't find information necessary to me.

Acrobat Pro Print Settings for digital presses
Hi everyone,
I am a digital printer running a xerox 700 digital press with Kodak Creo Rip Software. I have had some issues printing from Acrobat pro where the colors get real dark or distorted. I am sure it is just a color profile issue but I am not sure where to look for info. Does any one have settings(color profile, color handling) that work well for them? I feel a little like I am grasping straws to get this color right. I would call Kodak to ask them about what they recomend but they have stopped supporting thier software( by the way printers don't let Xerox talk you into using Creo. It is completely unsupported). Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated.

Flash Player Video Tearing 11,7,700,224 (Win 7)
Hi,
I have been trying to figure out for quite some time now how to get my HBO go to stop image tearing. As you can see in the title I am running the latest version. I am on vaction now but when I get back I will try rolling back my version as I learned from another thread. I have a Radeon 7770 graphics card and an i5 @ 3.0 GHz with all the latest drivers installed. My display is a 42in LED LG 60hz TV via HDMI and Insignia Reciever 5.1 surround. Under settings I have tried hardware acceleration on and off with no success. I have also tried bumping up hbo site usage to unlimited under these same prefrences. I have tried enabling and disableing v-sync with no change. I have also tried adjusting the Hz of my monitor and software with no success so I have reverted to the default 60hz on both the Catalyst Controll Center and the Controll Pannel. I was wondering if anyone has other ideas I might try. I've heard something about stage video but I still have no Idea how to enable it and cant find a step by step source. Any Ideas and how to's would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome message to this list for former LiveCycle Developers
I have been debating how to write this message for a while and finally decided to make a brain dump to this blog and on the Google list.
As many of you know, Adobe has decided to retire the name LiveCycle for what would have constituted the ES3 release. The new release is called the Adobe Digital Enterprise Platform (ADEP). The Document Services side of the product itself will be very familiar to LiveCycle developers and components such as the server, WorkSpace and WorkBench/Designer are all present and well built.
The great news is that it is available for download now: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/enterprise-platform.html.
This leaves a quandary for the user group lists and I am going to make a suggestion. There are two relevant lists for LiveCycle ES developers that will be affected as well as a new list for ADEP developers. The first is the official Adobe LiveCycle Developer list. This has well over 10,000 posts and is a great group. For the last 5 years, a second list, the LiveCycle Developers List on Google's platform has been a community owned list and helped introduce thousands of new developers to LiveCycle. We set this up originally as a community list based on a suggestion during a "Meet the Team" event at Adobe MAX in 2006 when it was disclosed that the then current LC lists were not working well for everyone. There are hundreds of code samples and file downloads, all of which will available until August 31, 2011 (Google's limitation, not ours). Please understand that this group is not an Adobe group, it is owned and run by the community. It is not any single person's decision to kill the group or move it. I have moderated it and tried to keep spam from reaching members but it is not my list. To re-iterate however, the official Adobe LiveCycle ES list at http://www.adobe.com/support/livecycle/ is also a wealth of knowledge.
Adobe has placed a huge emphasis on developer knowledge exchange experience and has already set up a new list for ADEP users. The ADEP Developer program is now open for business at http://www.adobe.com/devnet/enterprise-platform.html. It also has a brand new list (URL below).
While it is not my decision, here is what I will recommend. All developers moving on to ADEP (a.k.a. LiveCycle ES3 and beyond) should sign up for the new developer center. You can sign up at http://forums.adobe.com/community/adep (I made my first post today!). We want to avoid duplicity and make sure there is a single consistent place to ask technical questions and be informed of new events etc. PLEASE: do not use the existing LiveCycle lists to discuss ADEP topics as this will lead to fragmentation of knowledge and duplication of effort.
While not my decision, I believe we should leave the existing LiveCycle Developers list on google until it becomes un-necessary based on low traffic or low membership. It is important to recognize that not all customers will move on right away and I am not going to suggest we close the list as it still provides an important function. While this list does somewhat duplicate the official Adobe LiveCycle lists, I know many of you have found it to be a great resource and nothing will change. I will personally remain on that list as well. It might be prudent to move over to the official Adobe list to consolidate the knowledge base into one area.
The last item I want to encourage you all to do is to consider downloading ADEP from the http://www.adobe.com/devnet/enterprise-platform.html site and attend Adobe MAX this year to learn all about the new features in various hands on sessions. We have put a lot of work into this release and it also communicates with the software formerly from Day Software. There are architectural documents at the new ADEP developers center to explain how this all works. I have a new course on ADEP that will teach you how to get started which will be shared on the new ADEP list.
The Adobe official LiveCycle ES lists arre going to operate as normal to service existing LiveCycle ES developers.
Thank you for all being part of this great ride and I hope you will jump on board with ADEP and continue to learn more! Sometimes it is hard to let something you have grown and nurtured wither over time. I urge you to look at the bigger picture and the fact we are all part of the coolest tech community on the planet.

Applying ACLs to catalogs and composite applications
We have configured CRX to use our LDAP for authentication but obviously want to take it a step further and apply ACLs to both catalogs and composite applications based on groups in our LDAP.
How do we do this? We’ve read all of the documentation available and we understand how to use the CRX Repository Explorer to create and apply ACLs but we don’t know how to properly apply them to catalogs and applications.

I am running Mosaic on Experience server .
But when deploying this tile, am getting following error. (show appliCompositeError.jpg)
(error deploying the catalog to experience server the required descriptor.xml is missing from catalog archive being imported)

Timeout when deploying Custom Catalog
Hi ADEP / CAF team,
I am getting an error when trying to run my CAF based applciation from FB 4.5.
The error reads as follows:
"Error deploying the catalog 'CustomCatalog' to Experience Server (localhost) : maxwait 60000 exceeded, unable to receive data".
When i click on continue i see that my changes are reflected in the server but it is annoying to wait for the timeout to happen and then see the reflected changes.
Just as an FYI, I am able to deploy other sample applications but sometimes even they throw up this error while deploying.
Any help would be useful.

Loading new stylesheet
The new stylesheet would not load.
I do not see any errors within the error.log nor do I see any debug messages related to the loading of the stylesheet in the mosaic debug log.
In the browser, all I see is a message "Loading style sheets...."
I have the stylesheet configured appropriately within the catalog and application xml.. Also,I do see the stylesheet deployed correctly to crx.
How do I go about troubleshooting an issue such as this?

question about documenting object properties
Does the new version of Designer have a tool that allows us to print a report showing the properties of the object used in a form template? For example... showing all of the properties like fonts, size, patterns, defaults, whether or not a field is required, etc...? I am also checking to see if this capability has been added to Workbench not only for forms but for Process Maps too.

No Resource Found (404)
I frequently get the below error when I try to start my ADEP quickstart. How do I fix this issue without restarting my machine? So far, restarting is the only solution that works, and moving forward I don't think it's going to be an acceptable one.

HTML Tile loaded dynamically based on user interaction is invisible
When I include an HTML Tile in my application XML file, it shows up fine. When I load it dynamically, it doesn't throw a runtime error but it's invisible.

Error while loading services: Failure in Loader: VerifyError: Error #1014
I have a library that, after it loads, I see this error in the console:
Failure in Loader: VerifyError: Error #1014: Class mx.collections::ArrayCollection could not be found.
I had the same problem with another library, except it had a problem with IToken. I got around this problem by changing the default linkage of libraries in build path from external to merge into code. That did not work this time.
Merging Flex libraries into service libraries does not seem to be anything close to the correct way to deal with this. Besides, it didn't some the problem every time.
What is the best way to keep these sorts of dependency errors from arising? The RSLs are included with Web apps, but not with libraries.
